1. Trinity – God is One, Triune in essential being, revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
a. Father (God the) – First person of the trinity, eternal
b. Son (God the) – Second person of the trinity, eternally one with the Father, born of a virgin, perfect God and perfect man.
c. Holy Spirit (God the) – third person of the trinity, eternal, active in His Church, convicting, saving, sanctifying, guiding.
2. Authority of Scripture – The 66 books of the Old & New Testament are fully inspired, inerrantly revealing all necessary for salvation. The bile is literally true as it relates to the Life of Christ and the Salvation of humanity.
3. Salvation by Grace –Work hard all you want, do as many good deeds as you wish, but we can not earn salvation. It is a gift from God that is underserved.
a. Atonement – Jesus Christ’s death on the cross was for all sin and all persons. This is the only basis for salvation.
b. Prevenient Grace – All are graciously given the ability to choose Christ (or reject Him) while in this life.
c. Repentance – A change of mind, turning from sin and self toward God, is necessary to be saved.
d. Justification – God grants full pardon from the penalty of sin and accepts as righteous all who believe on Christ.
e. Regeneration – God gives a new, spiritual life capable of faith, love and obedience to the repentant believer.
f. Adoption – God makes us His child, part of His family.
4. Christ-likeness – After forgiveness, the Holy Spirit cleanses the heart and empowers the believer for life and service.
a. The heart is made pure, but not mature.
b. A mature character is formed by a lifetime growth in grace.
5. Church – Those who confess Jesus Christ as Lord are called together to glorify God in local and worldwide expressions.
a. Baptism – this sacrament signifies acceptance of the benefits of the atonement.
b. Communion – This sacrament declares Christ’s death until He comes again. All believers may participate.
c. Divine Healing – God heals through prayers of faith and through medical assistance.
6. Eternity – All who live have an eternal destiny.
a. Second Coming – Jesus will come again and those alive will join the dead in Christ to meet Him in the air.
b. Resurrection – There is a bodily resurrection of the dead followed by judgment.
c. Judgment – those who trust in Jesus will inherit eternal life (heaven), while the unrepentant will suffer eternal death (hell).
